Data Retention & Deletion
How long different categories of account and project data are kept and how deletion works.
Signature Album retains personal data and project information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the service, security, customer support, legal compliance and legitimate dispute or accounting needs. We do not keep data indefinitely without a purpose.
Account and profile information is generally retained while the account is active and for the limited period needed to complete deletion, prevent fraud, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations after an account closes.
Photos, proofs, corrections and final-delivery files may be retained while a project is active and for a reasonable support or delivery period afterward. Project-specific storage can also depend on the client’s order, print/delivery status and agreed workflow. Users should maintain their own archival copy of final deliverables.
Project messages, attachments and support records may be retained while needed to manage the project, document approvals/corrections, resolve support issues and protect account security. Records no longer needed are deleted or de-identified according to operational processes.
Invoices, transaction references and limited accounting records may be retained for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, payment-reconciliation or legal obligations even after an account-deletion request. Such retention is limited to those purposes.
Security logs and backup copies may persist for a limited cycle after deletion so systems can remain secure and recoverable. Deleted data should age out of routine backups according to backup rotation unless a legal hold or security obligation requires otherwise.
To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, use the Account Deletion page or contact info@signaturealbum.com. We may verify identity before acting on a request to prevent unauthorised deletion.
If data is needed for an active legal claim, fraud investigation, payment dispute, security incident or binding legal requirement, deletion of the affected records may be delayed only for the period and purpose reasonably necessary.
Retention practices may change as services, infrastructure or legal requirements evolve. The current version of this policy will remain publicly available. Questions can be sent to info@signaturealbum.com.
